- Start the long Summer RV Vacation - After two days of packing we only went to the local Venice Elks Lodge for the night. - We found quickly that we had some missing items into the car and back to the house.
- In the morning we started the drive from Venice,FL to Plum Branch Yacht Club, SC.

Starke, FL KOA and then to Brunswick, GA

- After a good night sleep in the RV we started North. - Stopped at Lazy Days and Camping World, Tampa, to get some small items. - Majorly important was the missing 120 volt to 50 amp power adaptor. Found it at Lazy Days. - We then continued on to Starke KOA for the night.
- In the morning on to the North to for a 2 day visit with Beverly in Brunswick, GA. - We spent two nights on Beverly's driveway. The RV fit nicely and and we were able to hook-up to 120 v house power. This kept the refrigerator happy but no air conditioner with only 15 amp of power, cool night so no problem. |

- Now on our way to where we will be staying for the next 10 weeks, - No problem finding the location and the roads were fine. - When we arrived we disconnected the car - Bea came out and showed me to site 39-F, 50 amp power, water, but no sewer. - Now it was time to dump the RV tanks and then move into the site. - We are on one of the many fingers of the lakee and have a view down to hill to the lake.
- We will be here for 4 weeks, then on site 94 for 2 weeks and site 112 for 4 weeks. |
