Cruise from Prince Christian Sound to Isafjordur, Iceland onboard the Zuiderdam

From the dock area we could see the town of Isafjordur, downtown on the right.


To help with traffic accidents a special crosswalk was created. It is really flat, it only looks as if it is elevated.

The Isafjordur Culture House



Above the Alter are over 700 birds sculptured by local residents.

Approaching the end of Isafjordur Fjord and we will follow around to the other side.
While rounding the end of Isafjordur Fjord, I saw a plane in front of the Airport Terminal.	We stopped after passing the airport and looked back done the runway.

At this point Hop-On Hop-Off bus stopped for 10 min, to allow us to get off and then turned around. Here we could see the other end of the runway and Zuiderdam on the dock side.

While stopped look the other way there were some sheep laying on the mountain side and some people climbing on a mountain trail.


After a long morning out touring Isafordur it is nice to return to the port area.
